The design concept
Some parts of building frames have been left uncovered. Unnecessary parts were removed and the remaining parts were painted. Based on these simple procedures, the emphasis is put on how to create space with “real” materials not with inferior ones.
The simple space was created with a bare minimum of materials to put an emphasis on its renovation.
The bare concrete radiates the touch of roughness. The grain of softwood plywood gives off casual warmth. The old tiles were painted in order to make them stand-out. These gave the share house a completely new look.
The old building frames that had been there for a long time were given a new touch so that they could serve its old purpose and new views could be created. The “old” and “new” aspects, which seem to contradict one another, actually coexists in this space.

・1.5 km to Tsurumai Station on the JR Line and the Tsurumai Line! It only takes about 10 minutes by bike.
The share house is conveniently located near the stations.
It has great access to the nearby stations. It is convenient to commute to work, to school and to go out for fun.
