Why did you decide to stay in the share house

It was my first time in Japan and I was looking forward to meeting locals and get immersed in the culture but at the same time my alone time is something that I value a lot, so having a private room it was a must for me. I felt like the SH concept fitted my needs perfectly.
On the other hand, the price-product rate was according to my needs and the SH's locations was also very convenient for me.

How do you spend the time in the share house

I like cooking so I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and living room, mostly chatting with my roommates or sharing drinks and food. We also share the interest for languages and traveling with some of my roommates, so whenever we have time I like to have long talks with them.
We also organize parties and nights outs from time to time.

How did your lifestyle change?

Actually, I've been living out of my country for quite some time now so I'm pretty used to share spaces and meet new people all the time but living in Japan was a whole new experience for me. Even though I was a bit nervous before coming, I'm happy to say that I got used to get back home and always having someone to greet, talk to and share daily events. It actually feels like home!

What do you want to try and how do you see yourself from now on?

I'm looking forward to keep meeting new housemates as they join the house. Also, I want to keep learning Japanese and get to understand the culture better.
I'm all in when it comes to trying new things, so the events that 180° organizes are really interesting for me. For example, last year I joined the rice-planting event and it was an unforgettable experience!

Massage to people who are thinking about share house

Just go for it! If you are a foreigner, living in a share house is the best way to get used to life in Japan in a fun and laid-back atmosphere. Nevertheless, for the Japanese people, this is also a great opportunity to make new friends, have new experiences and even improve your language skills if that's what you're looking for.
The SH experience will definitely change the way you see many things and improve your social life quality for sure.
