I was invited to one of the events at the sharehouse in Osu Kannon, and I had so much fun! I fell in love with the environment and the idea of living in a sharehouse. Living alone in Japan can be pretty stressful, so it's nice to have people who are willing to help you out. And you become really great friends along the way!

My work schedule is a little different from everyone else, so while everyone else is at work, I have some time to do laundry, study, or take a long bath. After work hours there is almost always people hanging out, chatting, eating dinner together, helping each other with language learning, or planning our next big trip together.

I'd say I've become a lot happier and more responsible. Seeing just how much everyone cares about each other here really encourages me to do the same. I never have a dull moment these days. Also I think my Japanese is improving a lot. And I wear slippers a lot more now!

I really want to travel around Japan and see all that there is to see here! But my ideal is to become fluent in Japanese so that I can live a little more comfortably. Maybe some day I can settle down and have my own family. But for now, I'm really enjoying the time with my sharehouse family.

If you want to make some great friends, and maybe even learn a new language along the way, you should definitely consider moving here! It's better than I could have ever imagined. It doesn't matter what your purpose is, there will most definitely be a place for you in Sharehouse 180.
