I wanted to have people around me, who I could exchange with – both as friends and people, and culturally as representative of their countries.

I’m spending about 65-70% of my time in my room, and the rest in the shared lounge/kitchen area, when making food or talking to my flatmates.

Since I have to take others into consideration, I’m more clean now – particularly in the common areas. I’m also more social, having people to talk to most of the time.

I haven’t lived that long in the share house, but we held a takoyaki party the other day, which was a lot of fun! The share house came with a takoyaki machine, so it was easy to set up.

I want to do more things with the people from my share house, and I think I want to improve my ability to be around people for an extended time. I’m introverted by nature, so it does take some getting used to.

This share house is super fun. The building itself is a little older, but a very recent renewal has made it feel like it’s almost completely new. There’s relatively few people (many share houses get above 10, there’s only 7 in here) so it’s easier to get to know everyone and make friends.
