“Urban Terrace Kami-Shakujii” is located within an eight-minute walk from Kami-Shakujii Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. The share house has great access to the heart of Tokyo. From the nearest station, Shinjuku Station is just three stops away and takes 16 minutes by express train. Also, Takadanobaba Station is two stops away and takes 12 minutes by express train. This is a large share house that has 52 individual rooms with modern retrospective spaces.
The house is a three-story, reinforced concrete building. A lounge that looks like a café stretches out on the first floor, making use of its large space. The kitchen is also spacious and you can enjoy your daily cooking while chatting with your housemates. In addition, each floor has bathrooms, basins and washrooms, and it is nice that the facilities on the first floor are separated by gender.
The lounge is spacious and offers a variety of usages. All the tables and sofas are big. You can use the space with comfort all by yourself or you can spend time with your housemates there. There are various publications from business-related books recommended by housemates to popular comic books on the shared bookshelves. The natural light coming through the large window is so nice, that it makes the lounge very comfortable. There are kitchen appliances and utensils to share in the kitchen. There is a double stacked A4 size box for each resident, so you don’t have to bring your kitchen items every time you cook. Measures for health and hygiene are taken: cloths are color-coded according to their usage and an alcohol-based sanitizer is provided.
Since the share house is large, there is an auto-locking system and individual mail boxes are designated to each resident. There is a shoe locker where you can store a pair of shoes and a pair of slippers.
Moreover, there is a spacious bathtub in a bathroom on the first floor, where you can take a relaxing bath. Clothes dryers can be used free of charge, since individual rooms have no veranda.
There are two types of individual rooms, a western type and a Japanese type, both of which are spacious. Each individual room has an air conditioner, a bed or a foldable mattress, a desk with a chair, curtains and a refrigerator. So it is easy to move in and you can start your new life on that same day. There is spacious storage so that even a long coat and a big suitcase can be stored. Little hooks are attached in each individual room so that clothes can be hung to dry.

Smoking is only available outseide of the building, inside of the share house teritory with your own portable ashtray to avoid any conflict.
Overnight stays are allowed up to 3 nights per month (no prior application required).
Leaving personal belongings in common areas is prohibited.
The shared refrigerator is for temporary storage.
After using the common area, please make sure that the next tenant can use it comfortably.
