I recently came to Nagoya for work and made the decision to live in a share house as it seemed like a great way to make friends and find my feet. I viewed many share houses in Nagoya but this house stood out for me, it felt very homely and I really liked the building layout!
2. How do you spend your free time in the share house?
On weekdays after work I usually spend the evenings in the living room, eating and talking with my housemates or watching T.V. On the weekends if it’s a nice day I like to explore the neighboring areas on my bike, in particular Osu-dori and Sakae.
3. How did your lifestyle change?
It’s definitely a change from living solo. There’s nearly always someone around to talk to and I like the fact that many things I had to do alone before are now shared between many people, e.g. taking out the rubbish! Being so close to the city centre is also very convenient when you want to go out or go travelling.
4. What do you want to try and how do you see yourself from now on?
I would like to do more travelling - around japan and abroad! I am inspired by several of my housemates who have visited many different countries. In the meantime, I hope to make more friends and get to know the area better. Perhaps find some more great cafes and yummy ramen shops!
5.Message to people who are thinking about moving into a share house
I’d definitely recommend it, the house is really lovely and the staff are super helpful!
